Roland Riedel Joins Designair's Advisory Board

Designair, the desktop-as-a-service company purpose-built for architects and engineers, is proud to announce that Roland Riedel has joined its advisory board.

Roland brings a wealth of experience from senior leadership roles at Zühlke, PTC and Autodesk. He has spent his career helping companies adopt and scale technology that transforms how people design, build, and manufacture. His deep understanding of the AEC and industrial software space is a natural fit for Designair’s mission.

Don Rekko, Co-Founder of Designair, shared:

"Roland and I worked closely together during our time at PTC, and I’ve always valued his clarity of thought, his strategic instinct, and his no-nonsense approach to leadership. I couldn’t be happier to have him in our corner as we grow Designair."

Designair enables architecture and engineering firms to run CAD and BIM software in the cloud—without compromise. The company has grown rapidly since launch, working with forward-thinking firms across Europe and beyond to eliminate the bottlenecks of traditional workstation setups.

Roland Riedel about joining the board:

"Designair is solving a fundamental customer problem for the AEC industry. They have a passionate team and a clear value proposition. Don brings decades of experience from the corporate world, running big digital customer transformations. However, he and his team stayed curious and hungry. They kept the entrepreneurial mindset to successfully build their own innovative digital business. I’m excited to support them on this journey. We need more such founders in Europe, Germany in particular."
